The Center for Cellular Therapy at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical
Center in
Israel, led by pioneer
Dr. Shimon Slavin, treats all
blood cancers, plus several other cancers; autoimmune diseases
such as MS, nerve injuries, spinal injuries and sickle cell
anemia; plus ALS and Alzheimer's. One successful patient outcome
is a professional golfer who had been diagnosed with multiple
sclerosis. After receiving a repair stem cell treatment using
autologous mesenchymal stromal stem cells, the patient wrote:
'The strength/endurance in my legs is at least 10 times greater
than this time last year, my balance is almost back to normal
and I have much more energy.' Since last spring, the patient has
been back on the golf course full time, capable of working
without issue.

Regenocyte Therapeutic based in
Naples, Florida with a Repair Stem Cell clinic
in the
Dominican Republic for cell implantation,
(a 2-hour flight from
Miami),
specializes in treating every cardiovascular disease, pulmonary
fibrosis and hypertension, type 2 diabetes and emphysema.
Dr.
Carlos Lima of
Lisbon, Portugal specializes in spinal
cord injury repair. His pioneering team has developed a successful
transplant surgical procedure that harvests patients' own stem cells
from their noses. Those cells are then transplanted to the sites of
the spinal cord break. As a result, some of the paraplegic patients
are walking with the aid of walkers.
China Stem Cells is a conglomerate of about a dozen hospitals
located throughout
China that
treat patients having neurological and autoimmune diseases. Among
their more than 75 treatable conditions are: Alzheimer's, autism
spectrum disorders, carpal tunnel syndrome, cerebral palsy,
epilepsy, meningitis and encephalitis.
Bangkok Heart Hospital,
Bangkok,
led by Dr. Kitipan Arom, specializes in treating dying heart disease
patients and has successfully treated more than 120 of them by
directly injecting repair stem cells into their heart muscles.
The XCell-Center at the Institute of Regenerative Medicine in the Eduardus Hospital in
Cologne, Germany
offers repair stem cell therapies for treating diabetes, stroke,
spinal injuries, multiple sclerosis, ALS, Parkinson's and
Alzheimer's diseases as well as arthritis, heart diseases, and
incontinence.

Medra Centerwith offices in
California,
Georgia,
Germany, and the
Dominican
Republic
Dr.William C. Rader has "treated over one thousand
patients, including children and adults
suffering from many of mankind’s most devastating diseases."
This treatment center uses only Human Fetal Stem Cells. "These cellular
building blocks are usually administered intravenously and
subcutaneously (under the skin). It is a painless procedure, which takes
place in approximately one hour, and has no negative side effects."
"The NeuroVita Clinic is an active participant of inter-institutional
and international research programs to develop and implement
state-of-the-art medical techniques of diagnostics and therapies of
severe diseases and injuries of nervous system. The main interests of
the Clinic belong to research of new cell medical biotechnologies for
neurology, neurosurgery and neuro-oncology."
"The unique feature of the Clinic is that it does not use donor, fetal
and/or embryonic cell material and transplants only autologous
(patient’s own) cell material. Only transplantation of autologous stem
cells permitted us to overcome the barriers of tissue compatibility,
refuse from immunosuppressive therapy, to resolve ethical, legislative
and religious issues that are linked with administrative limitations of
clinical application of cell therapy and tissue engineering of brain and
spinal cord."
This clinic only uses Adult Stem Cells and Olfactory Tissue
Transplantation (Offered
Treatments). Cost depends on the injury and each separate case. The
first trip is more expensive due to the extraction and harvesting of
your stem cells. As of the spring of 2010, the approximate cost of the
first treatment trip is $29,000 and the approximate cost of the
treatment trips that follow are $8,700 each. It is recommended to return
every three months. However, I know from experience that November-March
is extremely cold. When the patient cells are gathered, the
clinic obtains 20 doses of injections which is enough for about two
years (depending on the frequency of visits). The cost of one year
storage of cryopreserved stem cells is included into the initial fare;
later expenses of storage should be covered by the patient. 1 year
storage costs about $100. Each trip, the patient will receive two stem
cell treatment injections in his or her spinal cord (low back) and is
recommended to stay a minimum of twelve days.
A small room that consists of a hospital bed for the patient, a couch
that folds out into a (comfortable) bed for a companion, a T.V., and a
roll-in bathroom costs approximately $285, This cost includes the food
for a patient. A suite consists of two rooms - a small room and a larger
"living" room that contains a sectional couch, a T.V., a desk, wireless
internet hook up, a roll-in bathroom, and wood furniture to store
luggage and hang up clothes. A suite room costs approximately $535. This
cost also includes the food for a patient.

brain operations each year."
"Their stem cell experience has focused on the healing of brain trauma,
spinal cord injury, cerebral vascular diseases, (Parkinson's), multiple
sclerosis and myelitis, among other illnesses." At Tiantan Puhua
hospital, 3 main types of stem cells are being used: Neural Stem Cells
(from fetal stem cells), Adult Stem Cells, and Adult Bone Marrow Stem
Cells. Patient results are listed on website.
"The XCell-Center treats patients with their own autologous adult stem
cells. It is the first private institute worldwide to hold an official
license for the performance of entire stem cell therapies, from
extraction to processing to reinjection."
"Therapy focuses on the treatment of diabetes mellitus (types 1 and 2 as
well as sequelae), stroke, neurological diseases(in particular spinal
injuries), multiple sclerosis (MS), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS),
Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Erectile Dysfunction, Cerebral Palsy, Macular
Degeneration, arthritis, heart disease, eye disease, neuropathy and
incontinence." Patient results are listed on the website. Cost of
treatment differs "depending upon the condition being treated,
application method and the overall individual therapy concept."
Fraud has been reported by stem cell companies
operating in foreign countries and claiming to give stem cell treatment.
For protection, there are three essential questions prospective stem
cell patient's should answer prior to choosing or trusting a stem cell
company with his or her life-threatening treatment:
1. Does the company
have a local U.S. connection legally answerable to the patient in the
event the agreed upon treatment procedures are not followed? Or is the
company a totally foreign operation from which the patient has no
legal recourse
in the event of treatment fraud or default?
2. Has the company
by
publication in medical journals or published
clinical examples and tests PROVEN
its stem cell treatment program is effective?
3. Has the company
authenticated by personal name the Chief Physician so their
stem cell history, experience and medical competence may be
independently verified by prospective patients?
